An average Indian ENT clinic should have 3 chambers with one utility room and one waiting area. The first chamber is discussion chamber fitted with computer, printer and internet connection and is to be used for prescription generation and patient education, discussion and counselling. The second chamber should be used for patient examination, diagnostic and  procedure purpose. These  chambers should be separated by glass walls.

The third chamber should be used for audiometry, hearing aid dispense and vestibular test. This should be a noise free (sound proof chamber). If one wants to extend the clinic to a day care center then an operation theater (for surgical purpose) can be constructed- however this room should be attached to a changing room and a recovery room. Wooden Boxes fitted on the upper walls can be used for store/inventory. An ENT doctor of senior resident level should stay in the premises of this day care center to cover up emergencies. Anaesthesia facility can also be provided for which a boyle's apparatus can be kept in the operating room. However surgeries under IV sedation only should be atttempted- airway surgeries should be completely avoided.
