Usually it goes away of its own in few weeks but symptom need treatment. Physician generally prescribes antibiotics for treatment of infection other medications which are given for controlling symptoms are following:

• Corticosteroids
• Antihistamine

Other preventive measure that one can follow to minimize effect of symptoms

• Avoid jerky and any kind of sudden movement
• Avoid reading during symptom
• Avoid bright lights
• Try to stay at rest when symptom occurs.
• Avoid driving, use of heavy machineries, climbing during symptoms and alteast one week after symptoms disappear
